Battery re-charging stations |

The rolling robots are driven by two electric motors on the outside of their chassis of the type that are normally used for electric wheelchairs. Two auto batteries supply them with energy. Since not all the batteries can be re-charged over night, a special re-charging system has been developed. Robots with weak batteries leave the 4,000 square meter area and roll to a charging station at the side of the Hall. Freshly charged after their "pit-stop", they re-join their flock. |
