With the colour blue we connect day and night, sky or water. Blue stands for transparency, lightness and distance; it has an abstract effect and is cold. The "Knowledge" exhibition is bathed in blue light. The shades vary from turquoise to violet. The transition is smooth and conveys the feeling of moving in another dimension. The blue light makes the hall seem larger, stretching away into infinity. It also has a calming effect on the human organism and in this sense the exhibition becomes a physical experience. |
