Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie
A team of stage designers and artists, designers and technicians is working together on the design of the exhibition "Knowledge, Information, Communication" under the aegis of the ZKM: Olaf Arnd, Hartmut Bruckner, Dirk Brettschneider und Béla Stetzer. The ZKM has set up a separate branch office in Hannover specially for this project, and this is where the interactive choreography of these technically highly sophisticated scenarios is currently being developed. Established in Karlsruhe in 1997, the Centre for Art and Media Technology has been described as an "electronic Bauhaus". Its brief is to explore the creative possibilities of an alliance between the traditional arts, design and the new media technologies.
